Everbluetravel :: Sailing Club Nha Trang Viet NamWhether you’re in the mood for intimate cocktails or wine, or an atmosphere of loud music and festivities, all are on tap in Nha Trang. Every restaurant in town has the standard selection of beers produced in Vietnam. You’ll see either Saigon Red Label, Saigon Green Label, BGI, 333 Beer, Viet Duc, Larue, San Miguel, Tiger, and Heineken.

Most places in the tourists area also have a cocktail list, and some offer wine. For a quiet evening, just relax at one of the restaurant/ cafés in the tourist area. The shops selling the cheap local draft beer, bia hoi, get their fair share of backpackers in the wee hours.

The most popular places in town with a fun, sometimes rowdy, vibe in the air are all an easy walk (or crawl) from your hotel.

The Sailing Club at 72 Tran Phu St. is the hottest place in town, and one of the best into the wee hours of the morning. Prices are higher but the festivities can’t be beat as you’re right on the beach. The full-moon parties are legendary.

Guava Bar at 17 Biet Thu St. has low comfy chairs in a laid-back environment. They’ve got the latest tunes from Europe and North America, and often have guest DJs sitting in. Add fantastic drinks and a phenomenal menu, and you’ve got the makings of a great night out!

Guava Bar 2 at 34F Nguyen Thien Thuat St., owned by Canadians Quinn and Darin, has the same laid back atmosphere, cool music and great food that made the first Guava so popular. This second locale is also the city’s own signature Sports Bar with anything you want satellite TV, pool and dart tournaments, and weekly Quiz Nights. You couldn’t ask for more.

Crazy Kim Bar at 19 Biet Thu St. is a spacious place with a cool design that has rocking parties late into the night. Canadian owner Kim has been a staple of Nha Trang’s nightlife for 10 years.

Why Not Bar at 24 Tran Quang Khai St. has a wide and roomy interior with A/C on hot summer days. A good dose of music, pool tables and very late hours have combined to make this one of the town’s more popular late night destinations.

The Shamrock Irish Pub at 56A Nguyen Thien Thuat St. is cozy but has a truly authentic feel to it. It’s got pub grub, sports on TV and a friendly atmosphere.

The Red Apple at 54H Nguyen Thien Thuat St. offers strong cocktails, a big-screen TV, and loud music very late into the night. A popular backpacker hangout.

The Oz Bar at 26B Tran Quang Khai St. may look small, but the warm welcome you get and the coldest beer in town will have you back for more.

Havana Lounge at 3/2 Tran Quang Khai St. has the coolest rooftop bar in the tourist area. Set atop the Ha Van Hotel, there are comfortable couches with a nice sea view, plus good tunes and a friendly vibe.

Booze Cruise Bar at 102 Nguyen Thien Thuat St. Opened in 2010, this is an extension of the party boat bearing the same name. The open-air food terrace gets busy at night.

Louisiane Brewhouse at 29 Tran Phu St. is more of a fabulous restaurant and café than bar, but no list is complete without mentioning their incredible home brewed beers. It’s a mellow setting in the evening, often with live music.

Red Sun at 100 Nguyen Thien Thuat St., reopened after a year-long hiatus, is a friendly place surrounded by some of the best restaurants in town. The affable Vietnamese owner, Deng, makes you feel at home.

Check-Point at 27 Nguyen Thien Thuat St. has a café feel to it, with a bar on the ground floor, and a relaxing lounge and Russian restaurant above.

Ice Bar, no. 4A Tran Quang Khai. A slick interior and custom cocktails await those that visit this new lounge.

Blue Gecko at 42 Biet Thu St. is cozy and set down a quiet part of the tourist area, next to the Dewi Gallery.

The Jolly Leprechaun at 12 Tran Phu St. is a large comfortable bar adjacent the 5-star Sunrise Hotel. There’s live music every night.

The Sky Lounge at 12 Tran Phu St. is the Sunrise Hotel’s 12th floor bar. The prices are higher, but the setting is posh and the views are spectacular.

Number One Bar at 1 Hung Vuong St. is a club with booming music and sexy dancers up on stage. Bangkok by the beach.

Number 007 at 7 Hung Vuong St. is identical to Number 1 Bar, and both strangely shut down at midnight.

Rocky Bar at 75 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai St. opened in 2009 and can be a fun place to go for a disco club scene.
